We will match any price advertised in-store at any competitor (no online-only products).


Free shipping over $99. Some exclusions for heavy items such as bike racks, bikes, trainers, and other oversized items. Charges calculated at checkout.

Due to an increase of fraudulent activity with regards to online purchases, we now require all online purchases to have the same shipping and billing address entered at checkout. Orders with a different shipping address may be cancelled.

Note: Orders usually ship one business day after being placed.

Sorry, but we do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.

Free Shipping promotion not valid on discounted bikes

We are certified to ship Hazardous Materials in accordance with requirements of 49CFR Part 172.704(c)(2) as per US DOT regulations - specifically the shipping of "batteries".

Fulfillment Sources & Multiple Packages

In order to provide the best assortment online and reduce shipping times, we fulfill orders from our network of warehouses. This may result in portions of your order being shipped in multiple packages and having multiple delivery estimations. All items found on our online store are in stock. We do not accept payments for items on backorder.

Home Delivery

We now offer local home delivery. Addresses within our delivery zone will be able to select this option at checkout. If your address is outside of our regular delivery zone, please contact us to see if other delivery options are available.

Delivery is free on orders over $499!


In order to mitigate fraudulent transactions, please have your email confirmation of your purchase, your ID and the credit/debit card you used to make the payment. We will verify these items prior to releasing your purchase for pick up.

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.


We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.


Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.


Returns within 7 days of bike purchase in new, unused condition with tags attached and with a valid sales receipt will be exchanged, refunded (less a 10% restocking fee) in cash or check (if refund is greater than $50), credited to your account or refunded via Bicycle World store credit. New bicycles that have been used may be returned for partial credit at the sole discretion of a manager. Any and all shipping charges are not refundable in the event you need to return a product that was purchased. You will be refunded only for the product.

Returns within 30 days of non-bike purchase and with a valid sales receipt will be exchanged, refunded in cash or check (if refund is greater than $50), credited to your account or refunded via Bicycle World store credit. All sales of on-sale, clearance, or discounted bicycles, apparel, accessories, and components are final

The exception on returns would be eBike batteries. All sales of eBike batteries are final and batteries may not be returned/exchanged or shipped to Bicycle World for any reason. Ebike batteries are hazardous materials and their shipment is extensively regulated. Improper shipping may result in significant fines and legal liability. 

Bicycle World reserves the right to limit/deny returns. The refund will be issued in the same manner the purchase was made. Please see the return policy sign in stores for details.

Products that are fulfilled through one of our vendors will incure a 10% restocking fee if a return is needed. Any and all shipping charges are not refundable in the event you need to return a product that was purchased. You will be refunded only for the product. If you are unsure if the product will work please call us and we can let you know if that is the correct product.

  • Time: Non-Bike - You have 30 days from purchase to request a refund. Bike - You have 7 days from purchase to request a refund
  • Method of Refund: Refund will be applied to the original form of payment. 
  • Product Condition: Product must be new or like new condition in order to return.
  • Refund Contact Info: Contact us in-store, over the phone or by email for a refund. You can find store hours, address, email and phone number on our store details page.
  • Charges: Customer is responsible for any shipping costs related to the return. Customer will be responsible for the shipping charges if a package is refused.

SALE Merchandise

All sales of “sale” bicycles, apparel and accessories are final.

Layaway Policy

Layaway merchandise purchases or layaway purchases of new, non-sale bicycles must be paid in full within 90 days from the date of the initial deposit. The initial deposit on all layaway purchases must be at least 30% of the selling price. Layaway deposits may be refunded anytime, subject to a 10% restocking fee (based on the selling price of the merchandise). After 90 days, all layaway deposits are nonrefundable.

Service POLICY

Any bike left after 30 days of customer being notified work has been completed will be disposed.
