The Transiro Powerstrap R4 is a triathlon shoe with an extremely quick and intuitive to use Velcro closure, ideal for shorter-distance races. When every second shaved off in transition matters, Fi'zi:k wanted to deliver a shoe that could offer the fastest and most intuitive closure system possible. Powerstrap is extremely quick to fasten: simply slide into the shoe, pull and roll out from the transition smoothly. The strap is designed to pull an extended area of the shoe’s upper, so the fit is enveloping and secure, even with a relatively simple system. The classic considerations of a road shoe have been redefined with a distinct Fizik identity and a smart form-fitting construction. The R5 Nylon composite outsole is supple and comfortable even in the long haul but without compromising pedaling efficiency. Overcurve is a shoe construction featuring a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the ankle’s two bony protrusions: the lateral and medial malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape, with the throat of the shoe curving over the foot from its outside to its inner side.
